Una-Lam Team Paddles 50th Annual General Clinton Canoe Regatta

Even on holiday weekends, the Una-Lam team keeps busy. This past Monday, two employees completed the 70 mile General Clinton Canoe Regatta, paddling non-stop on the Susquehanna river from Cooperstown to Bainbridge, NY. Our maintenance supervisor, Lee Young, completed his 10th Regatta (entering the 700 mile club) and won his division with his daughter as his partner. Engineer Rik Vandermeulen completed his second consecutive race with his paddling partner from the Boston area, Alex Bonnar. I served as Rik's pit crew manager and my dad, Una-Lam's President Craig Van Cott, helped us out during the very long and hot day. We had a lot of fun at this great local event.
