Designed by students at the School of Construction Environments at Parsons School of Design in collaboration with The Trust For Governor's Island

Student designers and professors at opening reception

Inspired by the techniques of the Lenape people's longhouses, the pavilion will serve as a solar shading device and add a new iconic visual marker to the Island's landscape

Raised steel pin base shoes were fabricated in our steel shop to hold & support the glulam arches
