The police memorial in Battery Park City, NY uses power, and its electrical vaults are now housed in buildings with glulam roofs. The old electrical vaults were inundated during Superstorm Sandy and needed to be replaced. We made the glulam material for these in 2017 and recently had a chance to photograph the two buildings.
These were surprisingly difficult curved+sloped roof shapes to coordinate among trades, including head height restrictions at some of the corners. We're impressed by how the project turned out.
